Jazz Alley Casino / Golden Gulch

An historical restoration of an old stone jail house sits inside this Black Hawk casino. Every stone needed to be removed, labeled and reconstructed using a "dry stack" method; leaving it a safe structure that now houses Keno.

The far left part of the building was the original station for the "round-a-bout" of the train that came into the city at the time. The actual round-a-bout is across the street. The building of large "Vegas" type casinos caused this area to lose its historical significance so, unfortunately, a large casino now covers the area where the round-a-bout sat.
